Today I'm wise and I'm changing myself.»

PRACTICE OF MINDFULNESS
What kind of meditation do we pratice there ?
I'm a beginner, is that a problem ?
To meditate is to learn to stop and look deeply into that, with honesty.  It's taking the responsability to take care of ourself, for ourself and for others by stopping to put the weight of our problems on their shoulder. It's developping an inner solid base, in our body, and come and taste a simple joy always available at any moment. It's also opening our eyes conditionings and automatisms which get in our way. With the aim of taming them and getting free from them.

At "la Lanterne" we practice the simplest and  most universal meditation possible :
- with no cultural or religious label,
- with no oriental vocabulary or symbol,
- with no imposed clothing or posture.

« Mindfulness has been the most wonderful of my findings. When I look back, I tell to myself : « how could I live before, cramped in this tiny bubble of tension, prejudices and unconscious suffering ?». And the best is that I know I will look back again in a few years and tell the same thing about today. »
Trainings are very practical : we follow our breathing and body sensations, observe our thoughts, pratice goodwill and gratitude. There is no interference with your beliefs and no truth to accept. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner or an experienced meditator.

Besides these formal praticies, we train to do any action in mindfulness as if we were doing it for the 1st time of our life : walking, cooking, eating or even tooth brushing ! This brings depth, freshness and simple joy to the unfolding of our days.
